Wonderful Week!

One of the best things about living here in Delta is the school schedule! We start in August like everyone else and end in May like everyone else, but on top of that we get a week off in October (Fall break), Thanksgiving, 2 weeks for Christmas, a week in February (Winter Break), and a week in April (spring break)! So this last week on top of it being my birthday I had my family home with me for the week!

Tony took me to Ouray (the Switzerland of America) for my birthday and we watched some ice climbers...






and went to a hot springs place where they had a Vapor Cave. It was so neat (couldn't take cameras in so sorry no photos!) It was underground in a cave and they had a little pool with the hot springs to soak in! It was awesome! We then did some shopping and went out to eat! It was a great day! Thanks to Jennifer for watching the kids for us!
It was so great to be able to just hang out with the kids and Tony for the week! The rest and relaxation was just what we ALL needed!

Caleb turns 8 next month and is getting ready to be baptized, so we decided it was a good time to have him try to fast for fast Sunday yesterday.

While we were talking to the family about fasting Saturday night, we told them that they could have something specific that they could fast for. We asked them if they could think of anything that they would want to fast for and Caleb blurted out "BREAKFAST"!
